Implemented investments
Attracting investments is one of the ways the City of Niš strives to achieve its local economic development goals. The city's advantages include a favorable geographical location, a qualified workforce, urban planning documentation, infrastructure, and an efficient administration. In accordance with the Investment Law, the Administration for Local Economic Development and Investments carries out the tasks of the local economic development and investment support unit. This administration has taken on all professional and operational responsibilities related to creating conditions for attracting and implementing new investments. The success of cooperation with investors is best reflected in the number of new jobs created, as well as in the significantly shortened time required for the realization of greenfield and brownfield investments.
