For most people, the quay is a place to gather, rest, walk. With a well-kept promenade, park, amphitheater, it is a part of the city that the citizens of Niš are very proud of and are happy to show it to tourists. As part of the celebration of the European Week of Local Democracy, a Placemaking workshop titled “Niš on the River” was held on Friday, October 16. During the workshop, the activities of the plan for involving citizens were presented to the experts and local authortity representatives. The aim of the workshop was to initiate participatory planning of the arrangement of the Nišava bank stretching from Jagodina Mala to the bridge in front of the Fortress.
