SKIP

The Serbian-Korean Information and Access Center (SKIP Center) in Niš was opened in July 2023 as a place for free training of citizens in the field of information and communication technologies. The mission of the SKIP center is to overcome the digital divide in Serbia through improving information literacy and promoting cooperation through information technologies. The center provides free education and support to citizens and civil servants, enabling them to develop digital competencies and take advantage of information technologies in their daily lives. The SKIP center in Niš aspires to become a recognizable center of excellence in education and application of information and communication technologies, and a driver of progress in the digital age, empowering individuals and the community to adapt and prosper in an increasingly digitized world.

Objectives

* Raising information literacy and digital competences of citizens.

 

* Providing support to local governments in digitalization and digital transformation.

 

* Strengthening cooperation between Serbia and South Korea in the field of information technologies through joint projects and initiatives.

 

* Overcoming the digital divide in the local community.

 

* Raising awareness about the importance of information technologies and their application in everyday life and work.

 

* Ensuring the accessibility of the center to the general public, with free use of all services.*Continuously improving the quality of services provided through collecting feedback and adapting the program to the needs of users.
